Maharaja Aggarsain Founds a Civilisation
Maharaja Aggarsain, progenitor of the Aggarwal community and revered Yug Purush, founded the prosperous city of Agroha. He championed non-violence, social welfare and economic unity through the principle of “One Brick, One Coin.” He established 18 Gans, and the Sardaars of these Gans were recognised as his sons — strengthening community bonds that endure to this day.

A Community Carries Its Vision Across India
Following the decline of Agroha, the Aggarwal community dispersed across India. Despite geographical separation, they carried forward Aggarsain’s vision — excelling as merchants, traders and financiers, and spreading his ideals of enterprise, philanthropy and community solidarity.

Resilience Through Upheaval
Through centuries of political upheaval and colonial challenges, Aggarwals remained resilient — contributing to regional economies while preserving their heritage and cultural identity through community councils, traditions and social initiatives.
Agroha Dham Restored
The Agroha Vikas Trust undertook the excavation and development of Agroha Dham, restoring the sacred site as a centre of pilgrimage — reviving the historical and spiritual legacy of Maharaja Aggarsain for future generations.
A 65-Bigha Site Chosen in Panchkula
Continuing Aggarsain’s timeless vision, a 65-bigha site in Panchkula is chosen to establish Agarmath — a global spiritual, cultural and community hub for Aggarwals. Designed to honour tradition while inspiring contemporary engagement, Agarmath embodies the values of equality, service and prosperity.

The grand inauguration ceremony of Agarmath, held on 5th October 2025, marks the beginning of a new chapter. With reverence to Maharaja Aggarsain’s principles, this landmark ushers in a space for spiritual growth, cultural celebration and communal harmony that will guide generations to come.

“One Brick, One Coin”
When Maharaja Aggarsain sought to build the great city of Agroha, he asked every household to contribute just one brick and one coin. From this single act of collective, equal participation rose an entire civilisation. At the entrance to Agarmath, a monumental memento — Ek Int Ek Mudra — stands as an architectural representation of this founding value: that true prosperity is built not by the few, but by the shared devotion of the many.
The same spirit funds and shapes Agarmath today — a home built brick by brick, coin by coin, by the Aggarwal community for itself.

Four monumental Stambhs rise from the Sarovar encircling the Mandir — each a core tenet of the community’s dharma, each a value carried since Agroha.
Taraaju
The Weighing Scale. Its capital, shaped like a perfectly balanced scale, symbolises Justice, Fairness and Integrity in all dealings.
Kalam Davaat
The Pen & Inkpot. Adorned with carvings of a quill, it represents Knowledge, Truth and Honest Record-Keeping.
Bahi Khaata
The Ledger Book. Textured like a stacked ledger, it signifies transparent accounting, financial prudence and business acumen.
Kosh
The Treasury. With a base like a pot of wealth, it embodies Shared Prosperity, Community Wealth and Collective Economic Strength.
